The Canisius golf team heads south to Easton, Pa., April 12-13 to take part in the Abarta Coca-Cola Invitational, hosted by Lafayette.

ON THE TEE
• Canisius returns to play as one of 16 teams in the field at the Abarta Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational at Northampton Country Club in Easton, Pa.
• This tournament will be 36 holes, with 18 holes played each day.
• The Griffs will be one of five MAAC schools in this event, where they will be joined by Iona, Merrimack, Mount St. Mary's and Niagara.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Griffs tied for 11th out of 14 teams at the 2026 Carpetbagger Classic, which was hosted by Binghamton University in Urbana, Md.
• Freshman Cole Thompson carded a tournament score of 151 to finish tied for 46th in the field. Junior Mikey Takacs shot a two-under-par score of 70 in the second round and placed 61st with his 36-hole score of 154.
