The Canisius golf team returns to the course for the team's final 36 holes before the MAAC Golf Championship, as the Golden Griffins take part in the Roar-EE Invitational, hosted by Columbia, at Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston, N.Y.

ON THE TEE
• For the first time in program history, Canisius plays in an event hosted by Columbia, as the Golden Griffins take part in Roar-EE Invitational.
• This tournament will be 36 holes, all played on Saturday.
• The Griffs will be one of five MAAC schools in this event, where they will be joined by Fairfield, Iona, Saint Peter's and Siena.
• Wiltwyck Golf Club is located just off the New York State Thruway, near exit 19. Wiltwyck's golf course was designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones in 1954.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Griffs finished 15th at the 2026 ABARTA Coca-Cola Invitational, which was hosted by Lafayette, at Northampton Country Club in Easton, Pa.
• Freshman Cole Thompson finished tied for 81st in the field with hs two-round score of 158.

UP NEXT
• Canisius will travel to Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., to take part in the 2026 MAAC Golf Championship.
• For the first time in league history, the MAAC has seperated its men's and women's golf championships. The men will be on the course in Flordau from April 28-30.
