ON THE TEE
• The Canisius golf team opens the 2025 fall season Sept. 6-7 at the 2025 Alex Lagowitz Memorial, hosted by Colgate at Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y.
• This tournament format will be 54 holes, with two rounds scheduled for Saturday and the final round set for Sunday. Action on both days will tee off at 9 a.m.
• The Golden Griffins will be three MAAC schools in the tournament field, where they will play against Iona and long-time rival Niagara.
• This marks the second-straight season and the fifth time in the last 10 years where the Griffs have opened their fall campaign at Colgate's tournament.
• The Alex Lagowitz Memorial is one of six events on Canisius' fall schedule. Of those six tournaments, four are set to be 54 holes.

UP NEXT
• Canisius will travel to Omaha, Neb., to take part in the Bluejay Invitational, hosted by Creighton. That tournament will take place Sept. 15-16.
• The Bluejay Invitational will mark the first time the Canisius golf program has played a fall tournament west of the Mississippi River.
