ON THE TEE
• The Canisius golf team returns to the course Sept. 15-16 when the Golden Griffins take part in the Bluejay Invitational, hosted by Creighton, at Shawdow Ridge Country Club in Omaha, Neb.
• This tournament format will be 54 holes, with two rounds scheduled for Monday and the final round set for Tuesday. Action on both days will tee off at 10 a.m. (Eastern time).
• In addition to the 11 teams in the field, Nebraska and Iowa will also have individual golfers in the field.
• This tournament will mark the first time Canisius has played west of the Mississippi River during the fall season.

LAST TIME OUT
• Canisius opened the fall season Sept. 6-7 at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial tournament, which was hosted by Colgate.
• Junior Mikey Takacs was the Griffs' top finisher, as he tied for 27th in the field with a three-round score of 227.

UP NEXT
• Canisius will participate in the 2025 Little Three Championship against long-time rivals Niagara and St. Bonaventure on Sept. 24, at the Niagara Frontier Golf Club in Youngstown, N.Y.
