FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
1. Canisius Hosts Siena on Senior Day

The Canisius men's basketball team will play its final home game of the 2021-22 regular-season Saturday afternoon when the Golden Griffins play host to Siena on Senior Day at the Koessler Athletic Center. Game time is set for 4 p.m., and the contest will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

2. Series History vs. Siena
Saturday will be the 108th all-time meeting between the Griffs and the Saints, with Siena leading the series 57-50. Canisius has won 10 of the last 16 meetings between the two schools, dating back to the 2014 MAAC Men's Basketball quarterfinal game in Springfield, Mass. All-time, Canisius is 32-15 at home against Siena, with a 19-13 record in games played at the Koessler Athletic Center.

3. Seniors to be Honored Pregame
Prior to the start of the Saturday's game, graduate student Scott Hitchon and seniors Ahmadou Fofana, Malek Green, Jordan Henderson and George Maslennikov will all be recognized by the men's basketball program
on the team's annual Senior Day.

4. Fofana Fills It Up
Senior Ahmadou Fofana scored a career-high 21 points in the Griffs' win over Marist on Thursday night. Fofana's 21-point extends Canisius' streak of having a player score 20-or more points in a game to three straight. Malek Green scored 22 points at Iona Feb. 25 and Jordan Henderson posted a career-high 25 points at Quinnipiac Feb. 27.

5. Maslennikov's Career Night
Senior George Maslennikov returned to the starting lime-up Thursday night vs. Marist and went on to score a career-high 13 points while collecting a career-best three blocked shots. Prior to the game Thursday, the Odessa, Ukraine native had a total of four blocks in his previous 44 collegiate games, including his time at DePaul.
