FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
1. Canisius Ends Road Trip Monday Night

The Canisius men's basketball team will close out a two-game MAAC road trip Monday night when the Golden Griffins travel to play Fairfield in Bridgeport, Conn. Game time at Webster Bank Arena is set for 7 p.m., and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

2. Series History vs. Fairfield
Monday's game will be the 92nd all-time meeting between these two Jesuit schools, with Fairfield leading the series 51-40. The Stags have won each of the last two meetings between these squads, including a 74-68 victory in Buffalo back on Dec. 3. Monday will be Canisius' first trip to Webster Bank Arena since the 2016-17 campaign. The Griffs are 6-10 all-time against the Stags in the downtown Bridgeport, Conn., building.


3. Holding On to the Rock
Canisius was charged with just seven turnovers in the team's road loss at Marist on Saturday, the fewest turnovers for the Blue and Gold in a MAAC game this season. Entering Monday's game, Canisius ranks fourth in the MAAC and 105th in the nation with 12.1 turnovers per game.


4. Hot-Handed Hitchon
Graduate student Scott Hitchon had eight points in the Griffs' loss at Marist on Saturday. Since rejoining the starting line-up Dec. 18, Hitchon is averaging 9.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, which shooting 89.2 percent (33-for-37) from the free-throw line in that 14 game stretch.

5. More Threes for No. 3
Senior Jordan Henderson knocked down three 3-pointers at Marist on Saturday, the 14th time this season and the 34th time in his career where he's recorded multiple 3-point field goal makes in a game. The program's active career leader with 126 makes from behind the arc, Henderson starts Monday's game at Fairfield ranked seventh in the MAAC with 1.9 3-pointers per game this season.
