FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
1. Road Swings Heads to NYC

The Canisius men's basketball team continues its three-game road swing on Sunday when the Golden Griffins travel to Riverdale, N.Y., to take on Manhattan. Game time in the Draddy Gymnasium is set for 2 p.m., and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Sunday's game will be the Griffs' third game in the last six days, with a road game at Saint Peter's on the docket next.

2. Series History vs. Manhattan
Sunday will be the 96th all-time meeting between Canisius and Manhattan in a series that the Jaspers lead by a 56-39 count. A total of 44 games in this series, including the last game
in the series back on Feb. 23, 2020, have been decided by five-points or less. Manhattan leads that portion of the series 23-21.

3. Taking Care of the Ball
The Griffs enter Sunday's game at Manhattan averaging 11.7 turnovers per game, which ranks third in the MAAC in 64th in the nation. The 11 turnovers for Canisius at Niagara on Thursday marked the 12th time this season where the Blue and Gold had 15-or fewer turnovers in a game.


4. Fritz Returns to the Glass
Junior Jacco Fritz returned to the Griffs' line-up Jan. 11, against Quinnipiac after missing the Griffs' previous three games with an ankle injury. Since rejoining the action, Fritz has been good for 10.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in two games, highlighted by his 11-point, nine rebound effort in the loss at Niagara. In this most recent two-game stretch, Fritz is shooting 46.2 percent (6-for-13) from the field to go with 3.0 assists per game as well.

5. Fofana Feeding Teammates
Senior guard Ahamadou Fofana
enters Sunday's game at Manhattan averaging 5.4 assists per game in the Griffs' last five contests, with an assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.7. Since rejoining the Griffs' starting line-up Dec. 11, the Bronx, N.Y., native has been good for 12.6 points and 5.4 assists per game.
