FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
1. One Last Game in Alumni Hall

The Canisius men's basketball team wraps up its weekend road trip at Fairfield on Saturday evening, as the Golden Griffins take on the host Stags, with tip-off time set for 5 p.m. Saturday's game will be Fairfield's final contest in Alumni Hall - the team's on-campus home - which is being knocked down to build a new on-campus arena for future years. Canisius enters its final game at Alumni Hall with eight all-time wins after the team scored an 80-69 road victory Friday night.

2. Five Alive
The Griffs enter Saturday's game with an record of 6-3 after the Blue and Gold scored an 80-69 victory over Fairfield on Friday evening. That win extended Canisius' win streak to five, the longest win streak for the program since the 2017-18 campaign. This year's five-game win streak marks just the third time where Canisius has won five-or more MAAC games in a row since the 2000-01 campaign.

3. How Sweep It Is
Canisius' sweep of Quinnipiac last weekend put the Griffs in select MAAC company. Only four schools have swept multiple MAAC series this season, with Monmouth leading the way with four sweeps to its credit. Siena has three sweeps, while the Griffs and Saint Peter's have two sweeps, apiece.

4. Green Gets It Going
Canisius junior Malek Green had a career game on Friday, as he came off the bench and scored a career-high 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting, which included a career-best four makes from 3-point range. Green's 29 points are the most for a Canisius player since teammate Majesty Brandon had 30 points in a road game at Siena Dec. 23, 2019, and it also stands as the most points scored in a MAAC game by any player in the league this season.

5. Bring on the Reserves
The Griffs have received tremendous contributions from their reserve players this season, highlighted by the fact that the team's top-two scorers, Green and Brandon, come off the bench. Canisius enters today's game at Fairfield ranked first in the MAAC and third in the nation in bench scoring, with the team averaging 36.6 points per game off the bench.
