1. Canisius Host Saint Peter's on Hall of Fame Day
• The Canisius men's basketball team
will close out its weekend on Saturday when the Golden Griffins play host to Saint Peter's on Canisius Sports Hall of Fame Day. At halftime of Saturday's game, Canisius will formally induct the Class of 2019 into the Sports Hall of Fame, which features former men's basketball player Duane "Duke" Richardson.

2. Jesuit Basketball Spotlight
•
The Griffs' game against Saint Peter's will be the Blue and Gold's final scheduled contest against a fellow Jesuit school this season. The team is 2-2 in its previous four games against Jesuit rivals this season, with one of those wins coming at Saint Peter's back on Jan. 12.


3. Johnson Becomes Canisius' Best Helper
• Canisius senor Malik Johnson became the school's career leader in assists on Thursday in the loss to Iona, passing former Griffs guard Frank Turner with his second assist of the game
. Johnson enters this afternoon's game with 623 career assists, which ranks him eighth nationally among all active Division I players.

4. Fritz Gets Offensive

• Freshman Jacco Fritz grabbed three offensive rebounds against Iona on Thursday, giving him at least one offensive rebound in 22 of the 25 games he's played in this season. He is averaging 2.2 offensive rebounds per game, which ranks sixth in the MAAC and 221st in the nation.


5. Hot-Hand Henderson  
• Sophomore Jordan Henderson scored a team-high 18 points in the loss to Iona after he went 6-for-9 from the field and 3-for-5 from 3-point land. In the last five games, he is averaging 12.0 points per game while shooting 50.0 percent (22-for-44) from the floor.
