Five Things to Know - Presented by Salvatore's
1. Canisius Looks to End Skid vs. Fairfield
• The Canisius men's basketball team will look to end a four-game losing skid on Sunday when the Golden Griffins host Fairfield at the Koessler
Athletic Center. Game time is set for 2 p.m. The Griffs are coming off a 71-67 loss to Manhattan on Friday night, a loss which dropped the Blue and Gold to 0-2 in MAAC play for the first time since 2011-12.

2. Getting Offensive on the Glass
• After grabbing a season-low two offensive rebounds in the loss at Siena Dec. 23, Canisius has responded with 33 offensive rebounds in the last two games, including 16 offensive boards against Manhattan on Friday.

3. Give Us the Ball
• The Blue and Gold recorded a season-high 15 steals against Manhattan Friday, the 13th time this season the team has posted five-or-more steals in a game. The 15 steals on Friday also serve as the most for the most for the Griffs in a home game since the team had 13 steals in a win over Siena Jan. 19, 2013.

4. Brandon's Hot Stretch
•
Canisius junior Majesty Brandon made his first career start on Friday and recorded his first career double-double after he posted 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Bronx, N.Y., native has scored a total of 79 points in the team's last four games, dating back to Dec. 18, at Buffalo, which is the best four-game scoring stretch for a Canisius player since Malcolm McMillan had 90 points to start the year in 2015-16.

5. Hitchon Heating Up
•
Junior Scott Hitchon scored eight of his 12 points on Friday after halftime, and he enters Sunday's game averaging 13.4 points per game in the team's last five contests. He also ranks sixth in the MAAC in 3-point field goal percentage, connecting on 40.7 percent of his chances from behind the arc.
