Quinn and Sullivan Record Notable Times at 125th Annual Penn Relays

Seniors Siobhan Quinn and Carlin Sullivan competed in the women's 5K event at the 125th Annual Penn Relay's Thursday evening.

Quinn placed 46th overall and 20th in section two of the event, crossing the line in 17:35.86. Sullivan clocked in with a time of 17:45.07, just three spots behind Quinn in their respective heat. Sullivan's time was good enough for 50th overall.

Lisa Tertsch of Harvard was the top collegiate finisher in the event as she finished with a time of 16:03.15.

Iona's Jessica Sheriff (10th, 16:37.08), Quinnipiac's Emily Wolff (27th, 17:05.09) and Marist's Hayley Colllins (35th, 17:14.74) all finished ahead of the Griffs.

The men's and women's outdoor track programs will compete in the UB Invitational, hosted by cross-town rival Buffalo on Saturday. Track events are scheduled to start at noon.
