Five Things to Know Before Canisius Hosts Siena on ESPNU
1. Griffs Back on National TV
• Canisius will host Siena Friday night in the Blue and Gold's final regular season game of the 2018-19 schedule, with tipoff set for 9 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPNU, marking the fifth national TV appearance of the season for the Griffs, which ties the program record (the 2013-14 team also played five nationally-televised games). Friday's game also marks the first national TV home date for Canisius since Feb. 7, 2014 when the Blue and Gold hosted Manhattan on ESPNU.

2. Lots on the Line
• Canisius can finish anywhere from second to fifth in the MAAC standings as the schedule moves toward the 2019 MAAC Men's Basketball Championship, which will be played next week in Albany, N.Y. Canisius cannot win the tournament's No. 1 seed, but can earn a share of the MAAC regular-season championship with a win and some help. The final day of the league schedule is Sunday.

3. Senior Night in the KAC
•
Prior to the start of Friday's game, Canisius will honor its four seniors - Shaquille Evans, Jibreel Faulkner, Marcale Lotts and Jonathan Sanks. The Senior Night ceremony will begin at 8:40 p.m.

3. Molson Posts Career-High in the Loss
•
Canisius sophomore Takal Molson scored a career-high 28 points in the Griffs loss to Niagara on Wednesday, his second-straight game with 20-plus points scored. He has scored 20-plus points eight times this season, with six of those occasions coming in MAAC play.

5. Hitchon Highlights
• Scott Hitchon enters the final regular season game of his sophomore season averaging 8.8 points per game, an increase of 7.2 points per game over his scoring average this season, the largest jump among any player on the Griffs' roster. The Whitby, Ontario native is good for 9.5 points per game in league play, including an 11-point effort in the team's road win at Siena Jan. 5.
