HEAT SHEETS | SCHEDULE OF EVENTS | LIVE STATS

The Canisius men's and women's indoor track programs travel to New York City to participate in the MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The meet will take place Saturday and Sunday at the New Balance Armory.

Scouting Canisius
• Siobhan Quinn has set two school records during the indoor track season. The senior broke the women's mile record with a time of 5:07.04, and the 5,000 meters record, clocking in with a mark of 17:16.89.
• Her 5,000 meters time qualified her for the ECAC Championships in March.
• The men's relay team of Paul Henry, Marcus Brown, Josh Sopchak and Connor Doran competed in the 4x800 relay, placing second with a time of 7:52.83 at the SPIRE Institute Midwest Open. The quartet's time was good enough to qualify for the IC4A's.
• At the YSU Mid Major Invite, junior Nick Neamtu recorded the best result of the day for the men's team, a first-place finish in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:39.05. Senior Paul Henry finished fifth in the 800 meters, clocking in at 1:57.85.
• Senior Aileen Doyle finished the 3,000 meters with a mark of 10:31.61 for second place, just three seconds back of the first-place finisher, Ava Pietrzyk of Duquesne at the YSU Mid Major Invite.
• Senior Carlin Sullivan had a strong outing at the YSU Mid-Major Invite, finishing ninth in the mile with a mark of 5:17.11 and third in the 3,000 meters with a time of 17:51.32.
• Junior Marcus Brown recorded a first-place finish at the RIT Tiger Invitational, winning the 800 with a time of 2:00.76.

Championship History
• For the 16th straight year the MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships return to the New Balance Armory Track and Field Center in New York City.
• For the Canisius women's program, its best finish came back in 1998 when the team placed third overall.
• The men's team finished third in 2001, after back-to-back fourth place finishes in 1999 and 2000.
• Since indoor tracks return in 2014, neither program has finished higher than sixth place.
• Monmouth won both the men's and women's championships a year ago. In fact, the Hawks have swept the championships four of the last five seasons.
