Five Things to Know Before Canisius Travels to Play at Niagara
1. Back on the Road Again
• Canisius returns to the road for the final time in the month of January, as the Golden Griffins head north to face long-time rival Niagara in the Gallagher Center. Canisius leads the MAAC and is tied for eighth in the nation with six road victories, with four of those road wins coming in league play.

2. We're Streaking!
• Canisius enters Wednesday's game on a three-game win streak, making this season the seventh-straight year where the Griffs have won three (or more) games in a row during the regular season. The win over Monmouth at home Jan. 24 also snapped the Griffs' four-game home losing streak, which dated back to Dec. 29.

3. Western New York's Best College Rivalry
• Wednesday marks the 184th all-time meeting between Canisius and Niagara, with the Purple Eagles leading the series 100-83. Niagara has won three of the last four meetings between the two schools, with the Griffs ending Niagara's three-game win streak in the series last year in the Gallagher Center.

4. Molson in the Top-Five
• Sophomore Takal Molson leads the Griffs and ranks fifth in the MAAC in scoring average at 16.7 points per game. Molson's 18-point effort in the win over Monmouth, his 23rd straight game of scoring in double-figures, came after he went 7-for-11 from the field and 3-for-4 from 3-point land. He comes into Wednesday's game ranked third in the MAAC in both free-throw makes and free-throw attempts.

5. Senior Step-Up
• Seniors Jonathan Sanks and Jibreel Faulkner have played key roles off the bench recently for the Griffs. Sanks matched career highs with 14 points and five rebounds in the win over Monmouth, while Faulkner, who had 16 points at Fairfield Jan. 19, has made 10 of his last 13 field goals tries in two games.
