Five Things to Know Before Canisius Plays Siena
1. Griffs Open Three-Game Homestand vs. Siena
• Canisius will start a three-game MAAC homestand on Thursday when the Griffs play host to Siena. Canisius is 7-2 at home this year, having won those seven games by an average margin of 12.0 points per game. The Blue and Gold went 7-7 at home last season, extending the program's streak of being .500 or better at home to five-straight seasons.

2. Molson Earns MAAC Rookie of the Week Honors, Again
• Freshman Takal Molson was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week
on Monday, the third time this season he's been honored as the conference's top newcomer. In road wins at Marist and Saint Peter's last week, Molson was good for 14.5 points and 10.5 rebounds, including his career-best 11-rebound effort in the win over the Peacocks Feb. 4. Molson is the first Griff since Frank Turner in 2006-07 to earn MAAC Rookie of the Week honors three times in the same season.

3. Crumpton's Keeps Moving Up
• Senior Jermaine Crumpton moved into ninth on the school's career scoring list Feb. 4, when he scored 14 points at Saint Peter's. He enters Thursday's game with 1,422 career points in 112 career games. His 14 points against the Peacocks also allowed him to extend his streak of scoring in double-figures to 20-straight games.

4. Sanks Has a Day
• Canisius junior Jonathan Sanks came off the bench and scored a career-high 14 points in the win over Saint Peter's, on the power of four makes from 3-point land. Sanks is shooting 48.7 percent (19-for-39) from behind the arc
in MAAC play, which ranks seventh in the conference.

5. Johnson Helps Friends, Not Enemies
• Canisius sophomore Malik Johnson dished out a game-high eight assists in the win over Saint Peter's Feb. 4, the most assists for the Richmond, Va., native in a MAAC game. In the team's last five games, Johnson has been credited with 31 assists against just three turnovers. He leads the MAAC and ranks 33rd in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.7.
