Five Things to Know Before Canisius Plays Marist
1. Griffs Have Eyes on a Regular-Season Crown
• Canisius hosts Marist on the final day of the MAAC regular season with eyes on winning a MAAC regular-season championship, something the program has not done since 1993-94. The Griffs can win the title outright with a victory and a Rider loss to Iona, or earn a share of the league's regular-season championship with a win and a Rider victory.

2. Got to 20 for the Ninth Time
• Canisius' win over Niagara Feb. 21 moved the team to 20-10 overall, making this the ninth 20-win season in school history, and the first since 2013-14. A win over Marist would tie this year's team with the 1993-94 Griffs, who hold the program record for regular-season victories with 21. That 1993-94 team also holds the school record for wins in a season with 22.

3. Witherspoon Makes Some History of His Own
• Head coach Reggie Witherspoon became the first coach in program history to win a road MAAC game in every building in the conference in his first two seasons after the Blue and Gold defeated Niagara Feb. 21 in the Gallagher Center.

4. Crumpton Keeps Scoring
• Canisius senior Jermaine Crumpton had 16 points at Niagara Feb. 21, the 26th-straight game where he's scored in double-figures. He starts his final regular-season game in a Canisius uniform ranked fifth in the MAAC in scoring average at 17.1 points per game. His 512 total points this season are the most for a Canisius senior since Billy Baron had 821 points in 2013-14.

5. Reese Seeing 20/20/20
• Canisius sophomore Isaiah Reese had 26 points in the win over Niagara Feb. 21, his third-straight game with 20-or more points scored. He has been good for 20-plus 10 times this season, highlighted by his career-best 31 points in a home loss to St. Bonaventure. Reese ranks seventh in the MAAC in scoring at 16.8 points per outing.
