Five Things to Know Before Canisius Plays Fairfield
1. Griffs Good at Home
• Canisius moved to 9-2 at home this season with its 71-64 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday. The Griffs' nine wins this season are two better than the team had on its home floor last year, and it also gives the Blue and Gold a record of .500 or better in the Koessler Athletic Center for the sixth-straight season.

2. Griffs Clinch a Bye
• Canisius' win over Quinnipiac on Saturday not only got the
Griffs their 11th league win of the season, but it also secured a first-round bye for the Blue and Gold in next month's MAAC Men's Basketball Championship in Albany, N.Y. The bye is the team's first since 2014-15.

3. Crumpton's Home Cooking
• Senior Jermaine Crumpton scored a team-high 14 points in the win over Quinnipiac, his 22nd straight game with 10-or more points scored. This season, the Niagara Falls, N.Y., native has scored 20-plus points at home eight times, and he enters Monday's game against Fairfield averaging a team-best 20.6 points per game in 11 home dates this year. That stands as the highest home scoring average for a Griff since Billy Baron poured in 25.3 points per game in home games during the 2013-14 campaign.

4. Man of Steal
• Canisius sophomore Isaiah Reese earned two steals Saturday in the win over Quinnipiac, and he starts Monday's game with 59 steals for the season. The Miami, Fla., native has at least one steal in 18-straight games, and his 59 swipes this year are the most for a Canisius player since Craig Wise had 59 in 1993-94.

5. Foley Adds Fire Power Off the Bench
• Canisius sophomore Spencer Foley has come off the bench in each of the last two games and knocked down multiple 3-point field goals. He has hit two or more 3-pointers seven time this season, and in 15 games through his career.
As a team, the Griffs average 9.1 3-point field goal makes per game, which ranks fourth-best in the MAAC.
