Five Things to Know Before Canisius Plays Siena
1. Streaking Griffs Head to Albany

• The Canisius men's basketball team travels to play at Siena on Sunday afternoon riding a season-long five-game winning streak after the Blue and Gold scored an 82-74 at Quinnipiac. That victory was Canisius' fifth-straight overall and it improved the team to 3-0 in MAAC play. This marks the second-straight year where Canisius has won five games in a row, but it is just the program's third five-game winning streak since 2006-07. The 3-0 league start is the third in program history, and first since 2013-14.

2. No More Giveaways
• Canisius was charged with a season-low five turnovers in the win over Quinnipiac on Friday, the fewest for the team since the Griffs turned it over nine times Feb. 24, 2017 in a home loss to Fairfield. In the teams first seven games, Canisius was giving up an average of 20 points per game off turnovers, but in the nine games since, Canisius opponents are only posting an average of 15.1 points off turnovers per contest.

3. Reese Leads the Way with 20
• Canisius sophomore Isaiah Reese led Canisius with a team-high 20 points in the team's win over Quinnipiac on Friday, his fourth game this season with 20-or more points scored. Reese hit four 3-pointers in the victory, the 13th time this year where he's hit multiple 3-point field goals in a game. He starts Sundays game ranked sixth in the MAAC in scoring average with 16.3 points per game.

4. Crumpton Good for 10+ in a Dozen
• Canisius senior Jermaine Crumpton moved his string of scoring in double-figures to 12 straight when he posted 19 points on the scoreboard in the win at Quinnipiac Friday
. Crumpton is averaging 21.0 points per game in three MAAC games this season, and he starts Sunday's game ranked 17th in school history with 1,270 career points.

5. Hitchon Provides Push Off the Bench
• Canisius freshman Scott Hitchon answered the call on Friday, as he came off the bench and scored a career-high eight points to go with two assists and a blocked shot in the win at Quinnipiac. Hitchon, a native of Whitby, Ontario, had not played in a game for the Griffs since Dec. 19.
