Golf Places 13th in Florida

The Canisius College golf team opened the 2004 season by placing 13th in the St. John's Treasure Coast Golf Classic in Port St. Lucie, Fla., over the weekend.

Rob Krajewski shot a two-round total of 156 (80-76) to tie for 24th. Tim Sliwa posted a 163 (83-80) to tie for 56th. Joe Putnam shot a 173 (92-81), while Derek Roller (80-95) and Jeff Bagley (79-96) each posted a 175.

Canisius returns to action in the Cleveland State Tournament April 1.
