Shot an 86 at the George Washington Invitational to finish tied for 53rd... Average score per round was 84.7... Was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.

Fall 2002: Finished 10th at the Canisius Fall Invitational, shooting a two-day total of 160... Tied for 16th at the Little Three Tournament after an 82... Shot scores of 77 and 80 at the Robert Morris Golf Classic and finished tied for 19th... Had a two-day total of 161 at the St. Bonaventure Invitational to finish tied for 63rd... Average score per round was 80.

Spring 2002: Tied for 19th in the Canisius Spring Invitational after shooting 80 and 82... Finished 36th in the MAAC Championship with a two-day total of 248... Average score per round was 83.7.

Fall 2001: Competed in four events, and best finish was a tie for eighth at the Little Three Tournament with a score of 77... Average score per round was 79.1.

Before Canisius: A five-year letter winner at Parkside, he was twice named team MVP and all-league.

Personal: The son of Peter and Laurel Putnam, Joe is a history major at Canisius.
