Golf Ends Fall Season at Bucknell

The Canisius golf team finished with a third-round team-score of 299 and placed 15th as the Golden Griffins completed their final round of the fall 2025 campaign at the Bucknell Invitational at Bucknell Golf Course in Lewisburg, Pa., on Tuesday.

Freshman Adam Cichowski posted a three-over par score of 73 on Tuesday and finished the 54-hole tournament tied for 54th with his tournament score of 222 (+12). The Griffs' top individual performer was junior Mikey Takacs, who earned a tie for 22nd in the field with his three-round score of 217 (+7). Takacs shot a 75 in the final round on Tuesday. Freshman Cole Thompson carded a 74 in the final round and closed out the event with a three-round total of 219 (+9), which placed him in a tie for 34th.

As a team, Canisius' team-score of 886 placed the Blue and Gold 15th, two shots back of Mount St. Mary's and Wagner, which tied for 13th in the tournament. Youngstown State won the team portion of the tournament with a three-round team-score of 857 and Colgate's Brayden Dock won individual medalist honors with his score of 209 for the three days, highlighted by his five-under 65 on Tuesday.
