Takacs Tied for Fourth After Second Round at Bucknell

Canisius junior Mikey Takacs posted a second-round score of 74 and sits in a tie for fourth after 36 holes of the Bucknell Invitational, played Monday at Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pa. Takacs is one of seven golfers in the field who are tied for fourth and he will enter Tuesday's final round five shots back of tournament leader Leo Chu from Holy Cross.

As a team, the Golden Griffins posted a second-round score of 296, which places the team in a tie for 10th along with Bryant. Both Canisius and Bryant are two strokes behind ninth-place Wagner in the team portion of the event.

Freshman Cole Thompson shot a two-over 72 on Monday, and he sits in 26th place after two rounds. Thompson recorded his first collegiate eagle on the par-5 15th hole, one of four eagles on the day throughout the tournament. Junior Jake Dantonio also shot 74 on Monday, capped off with a birdie-3 on the par-4 18th hole.

The final round of the Bucknell Invitational will tee off Tuesday at 9 a.m.
