Canisius baseball coach Matt Mazurek announced the program's 2026 schedule on Wednesday, a 49-game slate featuring 18 home contests at the Demske Sports Complex.

The Golden Griffins open the campaign with a 16-game road swing, beginning in North Carolina. Canisius will start the season with a three-game series at Appalachian State (Feb. 13–15), followed by another three-game set at UNC Greensboro (Feb. 20–22).

The Griffs will head to Morgantown, W.V., for a midweek match up against Big 12 opponent West Virginia on Feb. 24. After returning north, Canisius continues its road swing with consecutive three-game series at Towson (Feb. 27–March 1) and Delaware (March 6–8).

Canisius will begin Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play by visiting Mount St Mary's (March 13-15), wrapping up the season-opening 16-game road trip.

The Blue and Gold open its home schedule the following weekend, hosting Merrimack in its home-opening series (March 20–22). The Griffs then return to the road for a conference match up at Rider (March 27–29).

Canisius returns home for a midweek match up with Le Moyne on March 31, followed by a home conference series against Saint Peter's (April 2–4).

The following week sees the Griffs take on Little Three Rival St. Bonaventure in the first game of a home-and-home series on April 8. Canisius then heads to Lewiston, N.Y., for the Battle of the Bridge series against Niagara (April 10–12).

The Golden Griffins host Bowling Green in a non-conference match up on April 15 before continuing their homestand with a three-game MAAC series versus Quinnipiac (April 17–19).

Canisius' final road swing of the regular season begins with a midweek contest at Pitt on April 21. The Griffs then travel for a conference series at Manhattan (April 24–26), followed by the road leg of the home-and-home at Le Moyne on April 28 and a weekend series at Iona (May 1–3).

The Blue and Gold close out the regular season at home, beginning with the home half of the series against St. Bonaventure on May 5. They then host Sacred Heart (May 8–10) before wrapping up the 2026 regular season with a three-game series against Siena (May 13–15).

The 2026 MAAC Baseball Championship, scheduled for May 20-23, will be played at Heritage Financial Park for the first time since 2010. The winner of the MAAC Baseball Championship will earn the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.
