After tying for seventh in a 14-team field a week ago, the Canisius golf team looks to continue its strong fall this weekend at the Bucknell Invitational.

ON THE TEE
• Canisius returns to the course Oct. 8-10 when the Golden Griffins take part in the Bucknell Invitational.
• The Bucknell Invitational is a 54-hole event played over three days.
• The Griffs will be one of four MAAC teams in this year's event, where they will be joined by Mount St. Mary's, Rider and Saint Peter's.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Canisius golf team tied for ninth at the Matthews Auto Collegiate tournament, which was hosted by Binghamton. Canisius posted a team score of 588.
• The Griffs' team score of 291 in the first round last week stands as the lowest round for the Blue and Gold this fall season.
• Junior Ryan Edholm finished seventh in the field last week with his two-round total of 139. That 139 matched his career-low for a 36-hole tournament, and the seventh-place finish marked his seventh career top-20 performance.
• Freshman Jake Dantonio carded a two-round score of 147, highlighted by an opening round 73, his lowest round of the fall season.

NEXT ON THE TEE...
• The Griffs will close out the 2023 fall schedule at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic in Milford, Conn., Oct. 15-17.
