Edholm's 67 Has Him Atop the Bucknell Invite Leaderboard

Canisius sophomore Ryan Edholm fired a career-low, three-under par 67 in the first round of the 2022 Bucknell Invitational, played at the Bucknell Golf Course in Lewisburg, Pa., Sunday afternoon.

Edholm sits tied atop the leaderboard with Bucknell's Blake Wisdom after the tournament's first 18 holes. The reining MAAC Golfer of the Month posted a total of four birdies on Sunday, including back-to-back birdies on the 10th and 11th holes. His 67 stands as the lowest score for a Canisius golfer since former Griffs golfer David Hanes fired a 66 in the second round of the 2016 Little Three Championship.

As a team, Canisius posted a team score of 296, which is the lowest team score for the Blue and Gold this fall season. The Griffs are tied for eighth in the 19-team field with Sacred Heart, just two strokes behind sixth-place Monmouth and Niagara.

Sophomore Joey Maher shot a five-over 75 to earn a tie for 43rd after round one, while teammates Mike Douglas and Ben Ramold each posted 77s on the afternoon.

The second round of the 2022 Bucknell Invitational will tee off Monday at 9 a.m.
