Golf Finishes Fall Season at Bucknell Invite

Canisius sophomore Ryan Edholm posted a three-over par score of 73 on Tuesday to finish tied for 25th in the field as the Golden Griffins closed out the fall portion of their 2022-23 schedule with the final round of the Bucknell Invitational in Lewisburg, Pa.

Edholm, who fired a career-low 67 on Sunday, ended the three-round tournament with a score of 219, which stands as his career-low effort for a 54-hole tournament. The reigning MAAC Golfer of the Month ended his fall campaign as the Griffs' top performer in two of the four events the team took part in.

Fellow sophomore Joey Maher shot an eight-over par score of 78 on Tuesday to finished tied for 75th in the tournament with his three-round total of 232.

As a team, Canisius posted a team score of 313 on Tuesday. The Blue and Gold ended up in 17th place in the team portion of the tournament. MAAC rival Rider won the team tournament title with a three-round score of 858.

Canisius will return to the course in the spring season. That schedule will be announced when it becomes available.
