FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
1. Canisius and Saint Peter's Meet Again

The Canisius men's basketball team will close out its regular-season series against fellow Jesuit school Saint Peter's on Sunday, just five days after the two teams battled in Jersey City, N.J. Game time at the Koessler Athletic Center is set for 1 p.m., and the contest will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

2. Series History vs. Saint Peter's
Tuesday will be the 87th all-time meeting between these two Jesuit schools in a series that Canisius leads by a 49-37 count. The Griffs have won six of the last eight meetings between these two programs, but the Blue and Gold saw its four-game win streak on the road in the series come to an end Jan. 18, after the Peacocks scored a 65-57 victory in Run Baby Run Arena.

3. Home and Streaking
The Griffs' 70-69 home win over Rider Friday night extended the Griffs' home win streak to four straight, which dates back to the Griffs win over Buffalo at KeyBank Center Dec. 18. This current four-game home win streak is the longest for the Blue and Gold since the team closed out the 2017-18 campaign with five consecutive victories to close out the regular season.

4. Taking Care of the Rock
Canisius had just eight turnovers in the win over Rider on Friday, the fewest for the team since the Griffs were charged with nine turnovers in the win over Buffalo Dec. 18. Canisius enters Sunday's game ranked third in the MAAC in turnovers per game at 11.9 per conest, which also ranks the team 80th in the nation.

5. No. 1 Running the Point, Scoring Too
Senior Ahamadou Fofana had 15 points in the win over Rider Friday. He added four assists and three rebounds to the winning effort as well. Over the Griffs' last five games, Fofana is averaging a team-high 11.8 points per game, and his 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio is also tops on roster.
