1. Canisius Ends Homestand Sunday vs. Monmouth

The Canisius men's basketball team will close out its five-game homestand on Sunday afternoon when the Golden Griffins play host to Monmouth at 1 p.m., at the Koessler Athletic Center. The game, which is presented by Pearl Street Grill and Brewery, will be broadcast live on ESPN3, with the audio call through the Golden Griffin Broadcast Network and GoGriffs.com.

2. Canisius' Toy Drive Continues
Fans are reminded to bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation to The Buffalo News Neediest Fund.
Fans that would like to donate a toy can also do so during the week by stopping by the Koessler Athletic Center during normal business hours (10 a.m. through 4 p.m.).

3. Series History vs. Monmouth
Canisius and Monmouth will be meeting for the 19th time in series history, which dates back to the 2013-14 season. The Hawks leads the series over the Griffs by a 12-6 count, which includes five-straight wins, dating back to Monmouth's win over Canisius in the 2019 MAAC Championship tournament semifinal round. Canisius is 4-3 all-time at home against Monmouth at the Koessler Athletic Center.

4. The Dutch Assist
Junior forward Jacco Fritz ranks second on the team and 11th in the MAAC in assists per game average with 2.6 assists per contest this season. He had a team-high three assists against Fairfield, the fourth time this year he's led the Blue and Gold in assists per game. Listed at 6-foot-10, Fritz is the tallest player ranked among the top-15 in the MAAC in assists per game this season.


5. Harried Heating Up
Junior Armon Harried scored a game-high 18 points in Friday's game against Fairfield, and he also grabbed a season-high eight rebounds. In the team's last nine games, dating back to the 2021 MAAC Championship quarterfinal round game against Rider, Harried is averaging 12.3 points per game. He ranks second on the team and 18th in the MAAC in scoring average this season at 12.0 points per game.
