FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
1. Canisius Starts Busy Week on Monday

The Canisius men's basketball team plays its third of five-straight home games Monday when the Golden Griffins play host to Cornell in non-league action at the Koessler Athletic Center. Game time is set for 7 p.m., and the contest will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

2. Fans Encouraged to Wear White, Bring Food
Canisius fans are encouraged to wear white in support of the Golden Griffins on Monday, and the first 200 students in attendance will receive a new, white Canisius basketball T-shirt. Fans are also encouraged to bring two non-perishable food items for donation to FeedMore WNY. Fans who make a donation (food, or cash donation) will receive a reusable Canisius shopping bag, compliments of Independent Health.

3. Series History vs. Cornell
Monday will be the 45th all-time meeting between these two schools in a series that dates back to Dec. 12, 1914. Since 1993-94, these two teams have played just five times, with the Griffs winning four of those contests.

4. Harried Heating Up
Junior Armon Harried scored a game-high 22 points in the Griffs' win over Coppin State Nov. 24, with 19 of those points coming in the game's first half. The Coppin State game is the second time this season where Harried was good for 22 points - he also had 22 points in the team's road loss at East Carolina Nov. 12. The Baltimore, Md., native enters Monday's game ranked second on the team in scoring with 12.5 points per game, and he leads the Blue and Gold with 15 makes from 3-point land.

5. Lots of Threes for the Griffs
Canisius made 15 3-pointers in the win over Coppin State, following 16 makes from long-range in the win over Fredonia Nov. 22. As a team, Canisius is good for 10.8 3-point makes per game, which ranks second in the MAAC and 18th in the nation.
