Five Things to Know - Presented by Salvatore's
1. Canisius Returns to National TV
• The Canisius men's basketball team
will play in front of a national TV audience on Friday night as the Golden Griffins travel to play at Quinnipiac in a game that will be broadcast live on ESPNU. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. The Griffs will be making their ninth national TV appearance under fourth-year head coach Reggie Witherspoon.

2. Down the Stretch They Come
•
Heading into Friday's game, Canisius has just six regular-season games remaining, with three games to be on the road, and three games to be played at home. After winning 27 road games from 2016-17 through 2018-19, the Griffs have struggled on the road this season, winning just two "true" road games to date.

3. Helping Hands
• Canisius enters Friday's game as the MAAC's leader in assists per game at 14.0 per outing. The Griffs have led the league in assists per game as a team in each of the last three seasons.

4.
Select Company for Johnson
• Senior Malik Johnson enters Friday's game at Quinnipiac as the only Division I player in the nation with more than 300 points, 150 rebounds, 100 assists and 50 steals to his credit. His next assist will be his 150th this season, which will make him the first player in program history to dish out 150-plus assists in three-straight seasons.

5. Double-Double Dutchman
• Freshman Jacco Fritz did not play against Quinnipiac when these two teams met in Buffalo back on Jan. 31. Since returning to the Griffs' active line-up, the Tiel, Netherlands native has averaged a double-double with 13.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game over the last two contests. In the loss to Monmouth Feb. 14, Fritz posted eight points, eight rebounds and four assists.
