Five Things to Know - Presented by Salvatore's
1. Canisius Returns Home Friday Night
• The Canisius men's basketball team returns to the Koessler Athletic Center on Friday night, as the Golden Griffins play host to Quinnipiac. Game time is set for 7 p.m., and the contest will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Canisius is looking to end its two-game slide after falling at Fairfield last week. The Griffs have won their last two games at home after dropping Siena (Jan. 17) and Rider (Jan. 19) on their last homestand.

2. Turning You Over
•
The Griffs lead the MAAC and ranks 28th in the nation in turnovers forced per game, with opponents giving the ball to the Blue and Gold an average of 16.5 times per game. Canisius enters Friday's game ranked third in the league and 52nd in the country with 8.0 steals per game.

3. Battle of the Arc
•
Canisius leads the MAAC and ranks 117th in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage, with opponents shooting just 31.9 percent from 3-point range against the Blue and Gold this season. In league play, MAAC teams are only shooting 29.8 percent from downtown against the Griffs, as Fairfield just made 2-of-12 shots from 3-point land last Sunday. On Friday, Canisius will play a Quinnipiac team that leads the MAAC and ranks fourth nationally with 10.2 3-point field goal makes per game.

4. No. 1 is Now No. 1
• Malik Johnson became the school's career leader in starts last Sunday at Fairfield as he started his 119th career game, passing former record holder and Canisius Hall of Famer Micheal Meeks for that honor.
Johnson ranks in the top-15 in nine different statistical categories in the MAAC, and he starts Friday as the league's leader in assists (6.0), steals (2.4) and minutes (38.3) per game.

5. No. 3 for Three
• Canisius sophomore Jordan Henderson has hit on 77.0 percent of his 3-point chances over the last three games, going 10-for-13 from long-range in that span. For the year, he's shooting 40.0 percent from behind the arc, and in league play, he's banged home 48.1 percent of his tries from 3-point land.
