Sullivan Places Seventh in 10K at ECAC Championships

Senior Carlin Sullivan competed in the annual ECAC Championships from Weaver Stadium in Princeton, N.J.

The West Falls, N.Y., product finished seventh in the 10K with a time of 37:16.27, just 1:40 back of first-place finisher Siobhra O'Flaherty of George Mason.

Sullivan's career-best mark in the 10K came earlier this season at the Bison Outdoor Classic as she posted a time of 36:35.46.

Saturday was the second time Sullivan took to Princeton's famed Weaver Stadium for the ECAC Championships. In 2016, Sullivan finished 29th overall in the 1500 meters with a mark of 4:43.73.

On Sunday, Men's 4x800 relay team of Paul Henry, Josh Sopchak, Nicholas Spinosa and Connor Doran finished eighth with a time of 7:50.38. This is the same team that took third at last weekend's MAAC Championships. The time was 10 seconds faster than conference foe Marist who finished in 12th position.

The ECAC/IC4A Championships concluded the Golden Griffins 2019 season.
