Track Competes at Geneseo Early Season Invitational

The Canisius track program took part in the Geneseo Early Season Invitational Saturday in Geneseo, N.Y.

Junior Connor Doran had the most notable finish of the day as he placed first in the men's 800-meters with a time of 1:58.79. Senior Paul Henry crossed the line in seventh place of the men's 1500m with a time of 4:09.78.

On the women's side, senior Carlin Sullivan finished sixth in the women's 1500 with a mark of 5:04.66, while fellow senior and newcomer to the track program, Vivian Mroz just barely missed on qualifying for the finals in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.05.

Hannah Latragna finished the women's 400-meters with a time of 67.23.

Canisius will head to Slippery Rock, Pa., to run in the annual Dave Labor invite. Action is set for Saturday, April 6, beginning at 9 a.m.
