Five Things to Know Before Canisius Squares Off With Saint Peter's
1. Griffs Get Road Win No. 7
• Canisius' 81-80 win over Rider on Friday night was the team's seventh road victory of the season, the most of any team in the MAAC. Five of those road victories have come in MAAC play, and all five wins have come by five-points or less.

2. Good in the Close Ones
• Canisius improved to 7-1 on the year in games decided by five-points or less with the 81-80 win at Rider Friday. The seven wins for the Blue and Gold this season in games decided by five points or fewer are the most for the program since 2000-01.

3. Molson Moves Past 800 Points
• Sophomore Takal Molson scored 17 points in the win Friday at Rider, with 12 of those points coming in the game's second half
. He starts Sunday's game with 802 career points, and his 167 points per game scoring average this season ranks fifth in the MAAC.

4. Johnson Closes in on Another Milestone
• Canisius junior Malik Johnson had eight assists at Rider Friday, his fourth-straight game with seven-or more assists in a game. He needs just four more assists to become the sixth player in program history to distribute 400 assists in his career.

5. Sanks Has a Career Night
• Senior Jonathan Sanks scored a career-high 17 points on Friday, with the last three points proving to be the game-winners as the Blue and Gold defeated Rider 81-80 on the road
. Last season at Saint Peter's, Sanks came off the bench to score a then career-high 14 points to help lead Canisius to the 70-58 victory.
