Five Things to Know Before Canisius Plays Host to Monmouth
1. Another Road Win
• Canisius scored another road victory in its last time out, as the Golden Griffins defeated Fairfield 73-68 in Fairfield, Conn., Jan. 19. That win, the Griffs' fourth MAAC road win of the season, puts Canisius in a tie for eighth nationally with six road victories this season.

2. Happy to Help!
• Canisius has done a much better job of sharing the basketball in the last few weeks, and that is evident by looking at the team's assists numbers. In six MAAC games to date, the Blue and Gold is averaging 15.8 assists per game, which ranks third-best in the league. According to kenpom.com, 55.6 percent of the team's made field goals this season have come off an assist - that ranks 85th nationally.

3. Reese Receives Honors
• Junior guard Isaiah Reese was honored as the MAAC's Player of the Week on Monday after he averaged 13.0 points, 8.0 assists, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and a steal per game in the team's road wins over Quinnipiac and Fairfield. The Miami, Fla., native has picked up the pace in league games recently, where he's averaging 14.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.

4. Perfect Day for Faulkner
• Senior Jibreel Faulkner came off the bench and scored a team-high 16 points in the team's road win over Fairfield, highlighted by the fact that he went a perfect 6-for-6 from the field and 2-for-2 from 3-point land. Entering Thursday's game against Monmouth, the Washington, D.C., native is tied for seventh in the MAAC in 3-point field goal percentage at 40.0 percent (18-for-45).

5. Molson Gets to Ten Again
• Sophomore Takal Molson scored 10 points in the win at Fairfield to extend his streak of scoring 10-or more points in a game to 18 this season and 22-straight, dating back to last year. The Buffalo, N.Y., native is averaging a team-best 16.7 points per game, which ranks fourth in the MAAC. He also starts Thursday's game as the MAAC's leader in made free-throws (84) while ranking second with 112 trips the charity stripe.
