1.    Coming Through In The Clutch
Junior D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks scored eight of Canisius' final 10 points in its comeback win over Fairfield. Patterson-Ricks started the comeback with a running jumper in the lane and ended it with her game-winning 3-pointer with just 9.4 seconds left on the clock. Prior to the run, the Fayetteville, N.Y., native had just five points to her name.
 
 
2.    Hinriksdottir Continues Climb Up All-Time Scoring List
Senior Sara Hinriksdottir currently sits 12th all-time on the Canisius scoring list with 1,225 career points. The forward is six points away from taking sole possession of 10th place all-time, surpassing Rachel Decker (1991-95). The Iceland, native is on pace to score 1,400 career points which would place her seventh all-time. Hinriksdottir also sits 14th all-time with 12.2 points per game in her career.
 
 
3.    Welch Has Her Best Game of Season
Senior Maria Welch scored a season-high 17 points against Fairfield Friday night. The senior went 5-for-7 from the field, including a perfect 4-for-4 from 3-point range. The game marked the 19th time the Erie, Pa., product led the Blue and Gold in scoring over her four-year career.  
 
4.  Stingy Defense
Canisius has the top ranked field goal percentage defense allowing opponents to shoot just 37.5 percent from the field as well as the third-best 3-point field goal percentage defense with just a 30.4 percent against. The Golden Griffins also have the MAAC's best defensive rebounding team at 26.8 boards per game.
 
5. Quinnipiac's Dominance over the Griffs
• The Bobcats have dominated the all-time series against the Blue and Gold since the very first game back on Dec. 12, 2013. The closest the Golden Griffins have come to a win over the Bobcats was Feb. 15, 2015, an overtime loss to Bobcats, 88-85.
