The Canisius baseball program hosts a single nine-inning contest with Saint Bonaventure May 4 starting at 7 p.m. before heading down to Olean, N.Y. for a doubleheader with the Bonnies on May 6. First pitch on Sunday is set for noon.  

GETTING STARTED
• With one walk Wednesday, redshirt senior Christ Conley has been issued 107 career free passes placing him fourth all-time in school history, passing Conner Panas ('15).
• Conley was also hit by a pitch three times Wednesday, putting him in third in program history with 44 hit by pitches, passing Panas.
• Senior Ryan Stekl has now started in 212 career games in a Canisius uniform, moving him into a tie for the most in program history with Kevin Mahoney ('09).
 
A LOOK BACK AT THIS WEEK
• The Griffs dropped two mid-week, non-conference games at Niagara May 1 & 2 by scores of 3-2 and 9-5.
• In the two match-ups, four Griffs recorded two hits apiece including sophomore Stephen Bennett, freshman Jacob Martins, junior Mark McKenna, and senior Ryan Stekl.

ABOUT THE BONNIES
• St. Bonaventure is 9-25 overall, 5-12 on the road and 2-7 at home.
• The Bonnies are 1-4 in their last five games most recently dropping a non-conference contest at home to Binghamton, 4-3.  
• The teams' offense has been led by junior Mike Magnanti, who currently holds a .331 batting average with 40 hits in 121 at-bats to go along with 19 runs scored and 12 RBI.
• Senior Ryan MacCarrick and sophomore Jeff Palczewsi also provide offense batting .308 and .295, respectively.  

UP NEXT
Canisius heads to the Fishkill, N.Y., May 12-13 to battle with Manhattan. First pitch on Saturday is set for noon with the Sunday's doubleheader beginning at noon as well.
