Place:  Annapolis, Md.
Course Info: Par 71 – 6,611 yards
Format: 36 holes (18 Saturday, 18 Sunday)
The Field: Canisius, Drexel, George Washington, Lehigh, Manhattan, Navy "Gold", St. Bonaventure, Saint Franics, Saint Francis Brooklyn, Saint Joseph's, Shepherd and Towson.

CANISIUS TO PLAY IN NAVY SPRING INVITATIONAL

• The Canisius College golf team will return to the course April 14-15 when the Golden Griffins play in the 38th annual Navy Spring Invitational at the Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Md.
• The Navy Spring Invitational is a 36-hole event, with teams playing 18 holes Saturday and Sunday.
• Canisius is one of 12 teams in the field and joins with Manhattan as one of two MAAC schools taking part.
• This marks the first time in program history where Canisius has played in the Navy Spring Invitational. In the tournament's 37 previous years, 21 different schools have claimed the team title.


HANES SETS CAREER-LOW AT FAU SPRING EVENT
• Canisius sophomore David Hanes posted a three-round score of 216 at the FAU Spring Championship March 23-25.
• The Elma, N.Y., native carded scores of 73-73-70, which allowed him to finish even for 54 holes, earning him a tie for 27th in the field.
• The score of 216 is a new career-low for Hanes in a college event, and it helped him earn MAAC Golfer of the Week honors for the week of March 26.

NEXT ON THE TEE
• The Griffs will travel south to take part in the 2018 MAAC Golf Championship at Disney's Magnolia Course April 20-22.
