Golf Starts Play at Colonial Classic

The Canisius golf team returned to the RMU Colonial Classic for the first time since 2008 on Monday, where the team posted a score of 344. Canisius will start round two of the 36-hole event in ninth place in the field.

Sophomore John Dantonio led the way for the Golden Griffins, shooting an 84. He is tied for 35th.

St. Bonaventure leads the tournament as a team after the Bonnies fired a 305 on Monday. St. Bonaventure golfer Nolan Ditcher leads the individual portion of the event after he shot an even-par 72.

The second and final round will tee of Tuesday at 9 a.m.
