CANISIUS IN THE FIELD AT LEO KEENAN EVENT
- The Canisius College golf team returns to the links Sept. 14-15 when the Golden Griffins take part in the 26th Annual Leo Keenan Invitational at Bartlett Country Club in Olean, N.Y.
- This marks the second-straight year Canisius has played in the Leo Keenan Invitational. Last fall, the Blue and Gold placed three golfers among the top-15 and ended the event in fourth-place overall as a team.
- Robert Morris is the defending Leo Keenan Invitational champion.
- The two-day, 36-hole tournament is named in honor of Leo Keenan, who served as the St. Bonaventure golf coach from 1968-87.
RECAP FROM COLGATE
- The Griffs opened the 2014 fall schedule Sept. 6-7 at the Colgate Invitational, which was played at Seven Oakes Golf Course in Hamilton, N.Y.
- Junior Andrew Romano was the Griffs' top indivdual performer, as he tied for 31st in the field with his 54-hole score of 233.
- Canisius ended the event in 11th place in the 14-team field.

A LOOK AHEAD
- Canisius return to the course next weekend, Sept. 20-21, when the team takes part in the Cornell Invitational at the Robert Trent Jones Course in Ithaca, N.Y.
