CANISIUS TRAVELS TO MAAC CHAMPIONSHIP

• The Canisius College golf team will look to secure the program's first MAAC crown this weekend as the conference holds its annual championship event April 25-27.
• The Golden Griffins finished last year's championship tournament in fourth place, the best finish for the program since 1997.
• Last week, Canisius took part in the Oak Hill Intercollegiate event at the famed Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford, N.Y.
• The championship team at this weekend's MAAC Championship will earn an automatic bid into the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Tournament.

• Again this year, ESPN will produce highlights after each round in Florida is complete.
• This year for the first time, Sunday's final round will be broadcast live on ESPN3, with coverage featured on the 9th and 18th holes.
