  • Canisius continues a three-game road trip and a stretch comprised of seven of eight games on the road with a two-game weekend series at Connecticut.

    Weeks on Fire
  • Jason Weeks has five goals in the last two contests. He is the third player in the last nine seasons to score five times in two games.
  • Chris Duggan had five goals from Jan. 15-16, 2000, and Brad Kenny had five from Jan. 30 to Feb. 5, 2000.
  • Duggan had two more goals in the next game and holds the record for goals in a three-game stretch with seven.

  • Canisius played its first Tuesday night conference game since January 2005 against the Rochester Institute of Technology and lost 6-3 to the Tigers.

    Weeks Brings Total to Eight
  • So far this season, Canisius freshmen have totaled eight awards ? six Atlantic Hockey Rookies of the Week honors and two Goaltenders of the Week.
  • Jason Weeks became the fourth Canisius freshman to win a weekly award when he was named the Atlantic Hockey Co-Rookie of the Week Jan. 8, after his hat trick in the Jan. 6 game against Army.
  • Carl Hudson was named the Rookie of the Week Oct. 9 and Nov. 6.
  • Josh Heidinger earned Rookie of the Week honors Oct. 23 and Nov. 13.
  • Freshman Andrew Loewen earned Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Week honors Dec. 10 and Nov. 20 as well as Rookie of the Week honors Oct. 16.
