Men’s and Women’s Soccer Lands Nine on CSC Academic All-District Teams

A total of nine Canisius men's and women's soccer players were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Seniors Skylar Cornell and Lizzy Harkness, juniors Elizabeth Cavanaugh, Maggie Cregan and Mary Molloy and sophomore Mya Jones were chosen from the Golden Griffin women's soccer team. Seniors AJ Zarcone and Mason Petrucci and sophomore Gianni Angaran were selected from the Canisius men's team.

Recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom, the Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams consist of student-athletes who have more than two semesters of residence at their current institution and boast a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Dec. 16, 2025 (men) and Dec. 17, 2025 (women).
