• The indoor track season gets underway this week as the Griffs open the campaign with an appearance in the Utica Ice Breaker Invite on Friday at the Todd and Jen Hutton Sports and Recreation Center.
• On the men's side, graduate student Andrew Perreault looks to build off a 2023 indoor campaign that saw him post a runner-up finish in the one-mile race (4:15.05) during the 2023 MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
• Graduate student Tom Appenheimer will be look to build off of his seventh place finish during the league championship last February, turning in a time of 8:30.04 in the 3,000-meter finals.
• For the women, Senior Olivia Moran returns after she crossed the finish line in the 3,000-meter race at the 2023 MAAC Indoor Championships in 9:55.48, establishing a personal-best time by over 30 seconds.
• Canisius continues its indoor season Jan. 20 when it takes part in the SPIRE Midwest Open in Geneva, Ohio.
