Appenheimer and Moran Sweep Cross Country Weekly Awards

Golden Griffins graduate students Tom Appenheimer and Olivia Moran have been named MAAC Men's and Women's Runner of the Week following the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa.

Appenheimer placed 30th in the men's gold division 8k finishing with a time of 24:34.7.

Appenheimer was coming off of a first place finish at the Jasper XC Fall Inivite.

Moran crossed the finish line in the women's gold division 6k 28th with a time of 21:03.0.

This is the second time this season the Moran and Appenheimer have been named Runner of the Week.

Canisius is set to host their annual Canisius Alumni Classic on October, 14 at Delaware Park.
