Hubert Tabbed Co-Rookie of the Week After Correction

Due to a miscalculation in votes, freshman outside hitter Lauren Hubert has been retroactively named a MAAC Volleyball Molton Co-Rookie of the Week. The league office announced the correction on Thursday morning.
 
Hubert joins Mikalah Curan of Manhattan as her fellow co-rookie of the week. Today's award also represents Hubert's third weekly honor this season.
 
In two matches last weekend, Hubert posted 24 total kills, six digs and one block. Her best match of the week came against Fairfield on Oct. 21 where she had 15 kills, three digs and posted a hitting percentage of .300 (15-3-40).
 
Hubert and the Golden Griffins are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Loudonville, N.Y., to play Siena. Opening serve is set for 2 p.m., with the game streaming on the Siena website.
