Volleyball Adds Tierney

Canisius volleyball head coach Tom Hanna announced the signing of Cali Tierney on Friday.

"We're excited to add a talented player like Cali to our porgram" said Hanna. " She trained and competed at a high level at 1st Alliance and Providence Caltholic and those experiences will serve her and our program well. As always, we are adding a great student athlete and a person to our program who fits in to what we're doing here at Canisius".

A native of Tinley Park, Ill., Tierney joins Canisius after helping Providence Catholic to three sectional and regional titles. During her high school career, Tierney earned all-conference selections in 2024 and 2025.

Tierney played club volleyball with 1st Alliance VBC where she was named to the AAU All-American 16 Aspire Division.
