Rowing Concludes Regular Season Sunday

The Canisius rowing team concluded the regular season portion of its schedule Sunday against Duquesne and Robert Morris at Moraine State Park in Portersville, Pa.

In the first event of the day, the varsity four placed third with a time of 8:24.1. Duquesne earned first and second-place finishes with 7:47.3 and 7:53.1 times, respectively.

Canisius' top varsity eight rounded out the day on the water for the Griffs with a second-place finish, clocking a 6:55.8 time. Duquesne was first (6:42.6), while Robert Morris was just over one second behind the Griffs (6:56.9).

In the second event of the day, Canisius' second varsity eight placed third in 7:26.5. Duquesne's second and third varsity eight shells finished ahead of the Griffs (6:53.8 and 7:20.4).
