Bolender Earns MAAC Female Diver of the Week Honor

Canisius senior Adriana Bolender was named the MAAC's Women's Diver of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.

Bolender earned a pair of first-place finishes last Saturday against Battle of the Bridge rival Niagara. The senior sat atop the 1-meter dive with a score of 237.68 and 246.00 in the 3-meter. Both scores were a season high for Bolender.

The Youngstown, N.Y., native became the first Canisius diver to earn a weekly award since Gianna Cornelia in Oct. 2019.
