2. Full Slate of Meets on Tap
After having just four days of competition in the spring, including the two-day MAAC Spring Invitational on March 27 and 28, the Golden Griffins are set to return to a full slate of meets this season. There will be a total of seven meets, three of which will be at the Burt Flickinger Center in downtown Buffalo. Canisius will host Geneseo Oct. 30, Little Three rival St. Bonaventure Nov. 13 and John Carroll Jan. 15.

The Blue and Gold have 14 combined freshmen on their squad. On the men's side, there are eight newcomers, while the women welcome six to their team.

4. Co-Hosts of MAAC Championships
For the 11th time in 12 years, Canisius will co-host the MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships, along with the MAAC and Niagara University. The championships are scheduled to be held Feb. 9-12 from the Burt Flickinger Center, in downtown Buffalo.

5. Up Next
Canisius will return to the pool on Oct. 23, with a tri-meet against the University of Rochester and MAAC rival Siena. A noon start time is scheduled at the Speegle-Wilbraham Center in Rochester, N.Y.
